Microtech Group Receives G-Cloud 10 Accreditation

Microtech-Group are delighted to announce we have been selected by the UK Government to join G-Cloud 10, the new government digital marketplace for IT products and services. Launched on the 2nd July, G-Cloud 10 is a collaboration between the Crown Commercial Service and the Government Digital Service, offering cloud technology and support to organisations across the public sector in the UK. The Digital Marketplace helps public sector organisations find and compare technology suppliers to help them deliver world-class digital services.

As 1 of 3505 companies selected in the UK, we can now offer the following via our G-Cloud listing on the Digital Marketplace;

  • Cloud Design
  • Installation and Implementation
  • Migration
  • Project Management
  • Support
  • Managed Service
  • Hosted Voice, VOIP and Unified Comms Consultancy
  • Programme Management
  • IT Strategy
  • Training

There have been now been 10 iterations of the G-Cloud since the first version went live in February 2012. Through the G-Cloud, UK public sector bodies can access a wide range of pre-vetted vendors and services, through an open, transparent and competitive online platform, known as the Digital Marketplace. According to the government, "more than £3 billion of cloud and digital services have been procured by public bodies through G-Cloud" since it was introduced.

Availability through the G-Cloud 10 digital marketplace allows government departments to purchase technology services and quickly deploy them through preapproved commercial arrangements with preselected suppliers.

The agreement is fully OJEU compliant, saving customers the time and money associated with conducting their own procurement exercise.  Buying Microtech services has never been easier, quicker and risk free for public sector buyers. On G-Cloud buyers can procure our services through Direct Award. Compliantly and as quick as in a few minutes.

Speaking of the accreditation, Group Technical Director of Microtech Group, Paul Mathewson, said:

"Microtech are delighted to have been awarded a place on the new G-Cloud 10 framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service. As a G-Cloud 10 supplier Microtech can continue to provide our various public sector clients with a range of services including cloud consultancy, support and professional services. We look forward to working with existing and new clients via G Cloud 10."
