David has been with us for 13 years and is responsible for ensuring that our customers are given the correct solutions as well as being the go to man for our engineers if they require additional expertise. He has pretty much dealt with every conceivable issue ever known to IT and has qualifications coming out his ears! David loves getting to the root of problems, finding solutions and ensuring our clients’ IT services are working effectively.
Having established Microtech over 30 years ago at the age of 21, Chris has seen the business grow from just a few members of staff to one that employs 80 people, and has an annual turnover of over £7m. Chris puts the success of Microtech down to hard work and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Claire is the font of all knowledge for all things Microtech and keeps the business running smoothly. She’s been with the company for nearly 6 years and while the most rewarding part of her job is being part time, it’s also her biggest challenge.
Paul is a self-confessed geek with an abundance of IT qualifications, so it’s safe to say he’s suited to his role of managing our product portfolio and technology partners. He is responsible for setting the company vision and defining and developing our technology strategy. Paul enjoys solving business and technical challenges for clients and strives to stay ahead of the curve, continually innovate and keep up to date with the ever-evolving world of IT.
Scott has been with Microtech for 5 years and is responsible for generating sales and managing accounts for both our public and private sector clients. In his own words, he can sell sand to camels’ and cites the most rewarding part of his job as being thanked by clients for an excellent job. The most challenging part of his job is working with Martin Duffy, Head of Microtech Digital…they can both be a bit competitive!
With 2 tours of service totalling over 24 years, John is our longest serving member of staff other than Chris. John is the project lead for all our installation works as well as managing all client services and responsible for quality control for our ISO accreditations. The most rewarding part of his job is to see a happy customer, while the most challenging is to keep his line manager happy!
Ashley has one of the toughest jobs in the building... she manages our team of service desk engineers and field engineers. The most challenging part of her job is juggling 23 members of staff, but she loves to see her team grow and her staff progress through the ranks.
Daniel has been with the business for 3 years and worked his way up the ranks to his current position where he manages all escalations issues within the service desk and delivers projects for our NHS customers. Daniel enjoys getting to the root of problems and leaving customers happy…he does have a daily struggle to get out the office at night to go home to his twins and their big sister!
