Tape Testing...
Test Restores and tape validation can be carried out at regular intervals and restore the clinical system and/or DocMan data tape to our Test Restore Kit.
The practice manager can then validate both the clinical system and/or DocMan and confirm that they are both up to date. The database(s) are then removed from the kit before the engineer leaves the practice.
Tape validations carried out on site mean there is no requirement for patient identifiable information to leave the practice. This service results in the practice still being responsible for checking the validity of tapes however without the need to perform any 'technical' tasks.
